A ruptured disc has forced Andrew O’Keefe to pull out of all remaining Jesus Christ Superstar tour dates.
The TV game show host and entertainer played the role of King Herod, who appears in a game show inspired number in the second act of the show.
O'Keefe is replaced by cast member Leon Craig who will perform five Melbourne dates and the added Brisbane date.

The Frontier Touring Company and Really Useful Group regret to advise that Andrew O’Keefe has suffered a ruptured disc and under doctor’s orders will be unable to continue in the part of King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar, a role that he has received critical acclaim for across the country.
Andrew O’Keefe said today; “I sincerely regret having to withdraw from this magnificent musical and would like to thank the Really Useful Group, Frontier and the entire cast and crew for taking me in to such a terrific production. I’m devastated I can’t finish off the Australian tour.”
