Sir David Attenborough has cancelled his Australian tour to undergo heart surgery.
The iconic English broadcaster and naturalist was set to touch down in Adelaide on June 18 before taking in Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne as part of his sell-out ‘A Life On Earth’ tour.
The 87-year-old will today undergo heart surgery in London to be fitted with a pacemaker.
Once recovered, it’s expected Attenborough will reschedule his tour dates, but for now, all ticket holders are asked to check the website alifeonearth.com.au for refund information.
