Johnny Marr, Solange, The Roots, London Grammar and James Vincent McMorrow have announced sideshows for the upcoming Falls Music & Arts Festival, held over New Year's in Lorne, Marion Bay and Byron Bay. The announcements are especially exciting to those who missed out on the now sold out festivals at Lorne Ampitheatre and North Byron Parklands.
Johnny Marr
Playing to Australian audiences for the first time as a solo act, Johnny Marr - one of the most celebrated guitarists in the history of contemporary music - will perform songs from his debut album The Messenger along with some Smiths classics.
The Messenger represents the first chance to capture Johnny Marr’s musical vision exactly as he envisioned, mixing elements of angular art-rock, indie and rock ‘n’ roll. And if the past tells us anything, it’s that Marr’s future projects are an on-going story worthy of the world’s attention and that these headline shows are not to be missed!
