Citing illness as the reason, comedy star, actress and producer Amy Schumer cancelled her first ever Australian arena stand up tour, dubbed as 'Amy Schumer Live'.
In a statement, both she and the tour promoter, Live Nation, apologised for the shows' cancellation. Live Nation added that replacement dates may not be possible due to Amy's busy schedule at the moment but are looking to see if they can work on return dates.
Fans who have already purchased their tickets via debit or credit card need not take any action for they will be refunded in full. The refund will automatically appear in their account within ten working days. Meanwhile, those who purchased tickets with a credit card that is now cancelled or no longer valid, need to contact the point of purchase.
Ticketek will also advise customers who purchased at an agency by cash or EFTPOS about how they can process their refund. Fans may contact Ticketek at 132 849 for further enquiries.
Had the tour not been axed, it would've kicked off in Perth on 10th December.
