UK rap phenomenon Stormzy is bringing his world tour down under next year May. He'll kick off the AU leg at Perth's HBF Stadium, then will head to Sydney for a pair of shows at Hordern Pavilion. The tour then continues to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Melbourne Arena before the final show at Brisbane Riverstage.
The tour will celebrate his soon-to-be-released sophomore album 'Heavy Is The Head'. Out on December 13, the album showcases his world-class lyricism and musicality alongside many of his celebrated and relatable subject matters. It also features additional vocals from some of the most exciting musicians of this generation who have been handpicked by Stormzy himself like Aitch, Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran, Headie One, H.E.R., Tiana Major9 and YEBBA with production from Fred Gibson, Fraser T Smith, T-Minus and others.
Stormzy's realness and encouragement to "speak your truth" has given grime a deservedly platform which has now transcended onto a global scale, resulting in him being one of the greatest artists in UK history. Just this year, he has headlined Glastonbury Festival and appeared on the cover of Time Magazine.
